SurePayroll Launches Extreme Payroll Stories Contest, Giving Small Businesses Opportunity to Win Free Payroll Services

Glenview, IL (PRWEB) November 23, 2010

SurePayroll today announced the launch of “Extreme Payroll Stories,” a contest that awards participants with free payroll services for sharing their stories about how they’ve processed payroll under extreme circumstances.

To enter the contest, small business owners and small business employees who process payroll can submit their “Extreme Payroll” stories to the official contest site, and encourage family, friends and colleagues to vote for their extraordinary experience. The participant who submits the story that receives the most votes wins free payroll service from SurePayroll for one year. The participant who submits the story with the second-highest number of votes will receive free payroll service for three months.

Submissions are due by December 15, 2010, and voting ends on December 17, 2010. Official contest rules can be viewed at http://extremepayroll.com/contest-rules/.

The Extreme Payroll Stories theme highlights SurePayroll’s mission to provide a fast, simple, and convenient payroll process (online and through the mobile payroll app) even under extreme circumstances. SurePayroll’s Mobile Payroll app is the first of its kind in the payroll industry, and was introduced by the company last year to give their customers the freedom to process payroll anywhere and anytime they want.

“Small business owners are very busy during the workday and never off the clock, so they often need flexibility in how and when they complete tasks,” says SurePayroll Vice President of Marketing Scott Brandt. “Payroll is no exception. People often tell us they’ve processed payroll in outrageous places – in the jungle, right before the start of their child’s ballet recital, on a romantic date, you name it. The contest is a fun way to celebrate their commitment to — and passion for — business.”

Fiduciary Publication Explores Whether ?Manager Beauty Contest? Is Responsible Approach for Manager Selection

Fiduciary Publication Explores Whether “Manager Beauty Contest” Is Responsible Approach for Manager Selection

Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) November 17, 2005

As part of its ongoing efforts to help the institutional investment community stay well-informed on investment and governance topics that impact their roles as institutional investors and fiduciaries, Strategic Investment Group announces the release of “Beyond Manager Beauty Contests.” This is the latest edition of Fiduciary Insights, a series of periodic publications dedicated to supporting those who share fiduciary responsibility. “We recognize the importance of the fiduciary in guiding the overall success of an investment program,” says Hilda Ochoa-Brillembourg, Founder, President and CEO of Strategic Investment Group, who previously led the pension investment team of the World Bank.

“Beyond Manager Beauty Contests,” explores the traditional final step in the manager selection process. This compulsory round of interviews is disliked by many managers because of its superficiality. Strategic believes that this method of selection also short-changes sponsors because it misdirects fiduciary oversight, relieves consultants of accountability, and is symptomatic of incomplete and ineffective delegation of fiduciary responsibility. “Beyond Manager Beauty Contests,” contends that there is a better alternative. The publication can be obtained, free of charge, by contacting Strategic Investment Group at http://www.strategicgroup.com/fiduciary_insights.htm.

About Strategic Investment Group

Strategic was founded in 1987 as a provider of discretionary integrated portfolio solutions, combining active portfolio management, rigorous risk management and open architecture manager selection. Strategic can orchestrate the management of an entire portfolio comprising multiple asset classes, focus on a specialized segment of a portfolio, such as alternatives (hedge funds, real estate and/or private equity) or international investments, or create customized strategies such as portable alpha. As of September 30, 2005, Strategic manages approximately $ 10 billion in assets.

Edge Pro Sheets anounces launch, Kentucky Derby contest

Edge Pro Sheets anounces launch, Kentucky Derby contest

Edge Pro Sheets

Clayton, Ohio (PRWEB) April 15, 2011

Edge Pro Sheets has released its schedule of horse racing cash freeroll tournaments for the remainder of 2011, starting May 7th, 2011, with the Kentucky Derby Day $ 1000 freeroll and ending with the Christmas Cash freeroll on December 10th with a $ 500 prize pool. There are a total of 10 events, each with a cash payout; every event is free and is available to members of Edge Pro Sheets; becoming a member at the “Edge” is easy! Signup is free, takes only a few seconds and you can sign up by visiting the Edge Pro Sheets website.

The tradition of cash freeroll tournaments began last year with The Breeders Cup Freeroll Tournament 2010 and is now an integral part of the Edge Pro Sheets horse racing handicapping experience. This schedule of cash freerolls complements the normal schedule of freerolls which pay off in EPS bucks, on a daily basis. EPS bucks are a way for handicappers to keep track of how they are doing, and the EPS bucks will eventually be redeemable for cash and prizes. EPS bucks are given to all who sign up and we’ll make sure that every handicapper has at least 300 EPS Bucks every month should he or she need them. There will be additional rewards for those handicappers who rank high on the Edge Pro Sheets Tournament Leader board.

Edge Pro Sheets designs its handicapping tournaments so that players can play along in real time with real results as the races unfold each day.

Edge Pro Sheets is pleased to note that there is a chat feature coming soon and many videos on site for handicappers to view while making their tournament selections. Information sheets will be available some time in the near future directly on the site, but are available now on one of our affiliate sites.

Cash freerolls currently scheduled are as follows: $ 1000 on Kentucky Derby Day, May 7th,

Monthly freeroll for $ 100 on June 4th,

2 events on July 4th, each for $ 235 (because the U.S. will be celebrating its 235th anniversary),

$ 100 monthly on August 7th,

$ 200 Labor Day freeroll on Sept. 5th,

$ 100 monthly freeroll on Oct. 1st,

The Breeders Cup Freeroll on Nov. 4th for a $ 300 prize pool, a second freeroll for The Breeders Cup, Day II on Nov. 5th for $ 500,

The year’s finale is the Christmas Cash Freeroll on Dec. 10th for $ 500

There is much more planned in the way of member profiles, discussion forums, live chat between players and many more freeroll events. We hope to see you in the winner’s circle!
